Jason Pollock's Lecture about Social Media at the University of Southern California

Last week I had the opportunity to give a lecture about social media at USC! Since this was a school I dreamt about going to in high school, it was awesome to come full circle and speak there. I streamed my speech live on Ustream so that the students could see how easy it is to do that. I also wanted to be able to share it with all of you! TURN OFF GOOGLE'S WEB HISTORY TRACKER!

Google is being a bit sketchy with this opt-out feature that I can’t imagine anyone opting in to if given the chance. Here’s the original article about it that I read from Yahoo.

Here are the steps to turn this scary feature off from the Yahoo article:

The above screen shot is what your history should look like when you are done. It should say PAUSED so you know there’s no more tracking.
